The beams are notched, tiered, and graduated, with a center reading to ensure accurate positioning. Magnetic damping is incorporated to slow pointer movement, resulting in quicker and more efficient results. For added security against theft, the TBB includes a slot for an optional Kensington-type lock and cable.
